What We Believe
Our Statement of Faith
1 The Scriptures
WE BELIEVE the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and are fully trustworthy and the final authority in all they say.
2 The Trinity
WE BELIEVE in one sovereign God, eternally existing in three persons: the everlasting Father, His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, the giver of life.
3 God's Revelation
WE BELIEVE that God has revealed Himself and His truth in the created order, in the Scriptures, and supremely in Jesus Christ.
4 Jesus Christ
WE BELIEVE in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
5 Salvation
WE BELIEVE that all who receive Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit, become children of God, and are enabled to offer spiritual worship acceptable to God.
6 Sanctification
WE BELIEVE that in life of holiness, without which no man can see the Lord, through sanctification as a definite, yet progressive, work of grace.
7 The Church
WE BELIEVE that the one, holy, universal Church is the body of Christ; that it is worldwide and composed of communities of Christ's people.
8 The Second Coming
WE BELIEVE that in second coming of Jesus: first, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to meet him in the air; and, second, to reign on the earth for thousand years.
9 Resurrection and Judgment
WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting punishment of the lost, and the everlasting blessedness of the saved.
10 The Great Commission
WE BELIEVE in the Great Commission, that Jesus commanded his followers to make disciples of all nations.
