Come and See Africa
Come and See Africa was founded by Dr. Chris Foreman, a retired Southern Baptist pastor. The organization is now headed by Dr. Frank Foreman, with a dedicated team including Javin Bakke, Zachary Foreman, and Shirley Hardy.

Dr. Chris Foreman
Founder of Come and See Africa. A retired Southern Baptist pastor based in San Mateo, California. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University, a Doctorate in Education from the University of Oregon, and a Master’s degree from Golden Gate Seminary. He is a retired U.S. Army Major with two sons and four grandchildren.

Dr. Frank Foreman
President of the board of directors. A pediatric dentist from Vancouver, Washington. He holds dental degrees from the University of Washington and Oregon Health Sciences University. A retired U.S. Air Force Colonel, he and his wife, Lelia, have ministered in Rwanda and have five children and six grandchildren.
Javin Bakke
Vice President of Come and See Africa. Javin Bakke supports the organization’s mission and helps oversee various initiatives.
Zachary Foreman
Secretary of Come and See Africa. Zachary plays a key role in the organization’s administrative functions.
Shirley Hardy
Treasurer of Come and See Africa. Shirley oversees the financial aspects and ensures the fiscal health of the organization.
